2008 RED RIVER JUNIOR GOLF POINT SYSTEM
There will be points trophies given to the 18 hole male golfer, 18 hole female golfer, The 9 hole male and 9 hole female golfer, who accumulates the most points. Ties will be broken with a scorecard playoff of final tournament.
To qualify for the championship tournament trophies - Golfers must accumulate 7 points and must play in at least 2 Red River Junior Golf tounaments in 2008.
Championship Tournament – July 21st, Paris Country Club
SCORING POINTS:
1 POINT - Turning in score card
1 POINT - Having correct score on card
5 POINTS - 1st Place
4 POINTS - 2nd Place
3 POINTS - 3rd Place
2 POINTS - 4th Place
1 POINT - 5th Place
(Medals are given to the first 3 places at the qualifying tournaments)
SCHOLARSHIPS:
This will be a 3 year process.
Those who graduate in:
2008 need to play in at least 6 tournaments between summer of 2007 & 2008 (at least 2 of these in 2008)
2009 need to play in at least 12 tournaments between summer of 2007, 2008 & 2009 (at least 2 of these in 2009)
Must fill out form and turn in by July 14th, 2008.
